As of this week, we are 70 days away from opening our 2016 show:\u00a0A Night on Broadway<\/em>. That\u2019s only 10 short weeks! 10 weeks to CenterStage Band and Show Choir\u2019s 10th<\/sup> annual show<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In honor of the groups 10th<\/sup>\u00a0season, I will be presenting a series I am calling “10 Weeks to 10 Years”. I will be sharing facts, highlights, and memories from members and fans of CenterStage to celebrate what this group has meant to the community over the last decade. So, let’s take a closer look at the group:<\/p>\n

10\u00a0things you may not know about CenterStage<\/h2>\n

1.<\/strong> In 9 seasons CenterStage has performed 181<\/strong> musical numbers:\"IMG_9096\"<\/p>\n

66<\/strong> were performed by the full chorus<\/p>\n

26<\/strong>\u00a0 were performed solely by the band<\/p>\n

89<\/strong> numbers were performed by an individual or a small\u00a0ensemble<\/p>\n

2<\/strong>. The CenterStage Choir\u00a0has sung 10<\/strong>\u00a0different musical medleys featuring\u00a0movie scores, disco favorites and a tribute to Queen. Even more medleys have been performed by the CenterStage Band.<\/p>\n
